Grube Clara baryte specimens are a classic for the species in Europe. In this specimen we can enjoy numerous crystal aggregates, some isolated, presenting a rich complexity of facets. They are mainly formed by faces of orthorhombic prisms and curiously some are translucent while others are totally transparent. The brilliance, transparence and contrast on the matrix add aesthetics to this specimen.
Wulfenite specimens like the one we present are very unusual for this locality and appeared many years ago. On a matrix with dolomite, galena and baryte there are numerous crystals of intense orange color, with dipyramid faces truncated by the pinacoids. Some appear as isolated crystals and mostly in parallel growth. This specimen is from the Peter Seroka collection and previously belonged to the Marcus Lueg collection.
A novelty from Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines 2022. These specimens come from a recent find in this mining area of the Black Forest and are reminiscent of those found decades ago in this area. They show radial aggregates of extremely brilliant pyrolusite crystals that partially replace manganite. By X-ray diffraction we have been determined the presence of both species, even with a certain predominance of manganite. They usually appear on a matrix of pink granite or as groups of large crystals in parallel growth. In the specimens we can observe the inclined flattened terminal faces. They are highly aesthetic pieces those will become part of the best specimens of these species for European mineralogy. We will send the XRD to the buyer.
Baryte crystals from this quarry are a classic of Catalan mineralogy. They appear in the fissures of the slates, usually covered by iron oxydes. In this specimen we can see various groups of prismatic crystals, brilliant and transparent, rich in faces. Among them, a larger one stands out in which we can see the faces of orthorhombic prisms of various orders truncated by pinacoidal faces. Nowadays it is very difficult to find specimens in this quarry and even less with the quality we offer.
These fluorite crystals have a cubic appearance with growths in tiles on the surfaces of the faces. In this specimen we observe a more intense violet to purple color on the edges and on the outside of the crystals, while inner core has a soft green color. They are disposed on a matrix with quartz crystals. Under shortwave ultraviolet light they fluoresce bluish.
In this specimen we can see a group of bluish fluorite crystals partially covered by a druse of minute but very bright quartz crystals.
Elbaite specimen of very good size and thickness, showing us the prisms with vertical striations and well-defined terminal faces. Highlights the brightness and a more intense green color at the top and lighter at the base. A gem from Minas Gerais. It belongs from the Trigo collection.
Very good specimen of galena formed by a large group of crystals with complex shapes and a visible spinel twin. They are disposed on a small matrix.

Quartz specimen with marked "window" growths with inclusions. These Allos pass crystals are not very common on the market. Allos pass is situated on the edge of Mercantour National Park approximately 20 km from the small village of Barcelonnette.
Very thick and good size stibnite crystal from this classic Romanian mine. It presents an elongated prism, striated, with an excellent brightness. Very rich in facets in the upper terminal part, with complex bipyramidal faces. On the main crystal we observe a group of crystals of the same mineral, finer, that suppose a second crystallization. Nowadays it is difficult to find specimens of this quality from this mine. It comes from a former Austrian collection.
More than an excellent specimen from Herja mine, a world-class Romanian locality for stibnite. This piece, of a very good size, is formed by several groups of thick prismatic crystals with visible terminal faces. We can observe a second generation of thin crystals. Nowadays it is difficult to find samples of this quality, for museum display cases. It belongs from a former Austrian collection.
These baryte crystals are very different from the usual ones that we can see coming from this Moroccan locality and even from other deposits famous for baryte. These are prisms of different orders, the predominant third order, truncated by the second order. We observe that a white geometric growth has formed and only affects certain faces of the rhombic prisms. This zoning is unusual for the species. The crystals are transparent and brilliant.
Very aesthetic aggregates of epidote crystals forming beams, with brilliance, defined and with this classic green color. They are disposed on the matrix with quartz crystals, forming very interesting concentric growths.
Very rich chabazite-Ca specimen, with defined and brilliant crystals, those cover one side of the matrix, while on the other we can see numerous heulandite crystals with groups of chabazite-Ca in the upper part. This specimen belongs from the Faroe Islands (Færøerne, which means "islands of lambs"), an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark, made up of a small archipelago in the North Atlantic, between the United Kingdom, Norway and Iceland. It is not easy to find zeolites from this area.
