Two generations of vanadinite crystals. A good-sized brilliant crystals, with echeloned growths and defined faces and edges. With good color yellow and peppered by deep black coronadite globular aggregates and covering the matrix. Another generation shows small crystals (<1 mm) but with a nice luster, transparence, and yellowish tone. Both are on goethite with mottramite crystals.
A very curious piece composed by a group of quartz crystals, one of them of greater size, with a slight smoky tone and an exceptional transparence. Black almost metallic inclusions of hematite are observed in the top faces of the crystal. Also on them. With a minor feldspar matrix. A very aesthetic specimen.
Large group of sphalerite crystals with an exceptional brilliance, honey color and transparency that allows light to play with the honey colors. Peppered on back side by small crystals of baryte showing flattened shapes. A little gemmy miniature. Troya mine was closed in 1993, only a few years before these specimens were collected in 1990. Nowadays the mine is collapsed and flooded.
Aesthetic crystals of bournonite, twinned, with echeloned growths, very bright and sharp. They are disposed on a matrix with lenticular siderite crystals. It is hard to find samples of this classic German locality. If on hand they are all brilliance, under loupe crystals are amazing.
Rich group of cubic crystals of fluorite, of intense color between violet and purple. They are disposed on a matrix of baryte, with tabular crystals in book shape, dull luster and zoned. Good size for display...
On a white matrix formed by several white dolomite crystals, sharp and with curved faces and edges, we can enjoy a crystal of sphalerite very brilliant, with transparence and a very uniform toasted honey color. Very aesthetic specimen. From a former German Col. Nr.812.
In this good size specimen we can observe a group of tabular wulfenite crystals showing well defined faces and parallel growths. They are interpenetrated between them and accompanied by small but perfect tabular wulfenite crystals on matrix. The brilliance is excellent and in thin parts they show transparence. They are very aerial disposed on a matrix of baryte crystals, with cerussite and dolomite.
This specimen of baryte is one of the most aesthetic I've had to be sold... Added to its quality, the crystallographic "games" are more than interesting. It shows two barite crystals connected by a contact twin and sharing faces of different orders orthorhombic prisms. Very sharp faces and edges. With transparent to translucent zones and an exceptional brilliance. It preserve some of the original matrix. No damage. An exceptional specimen.
Group of fluorite crystals showing cubic faces with edges beveled by tetrahexahedron. Brilliance, transparence and with a slight bluish tint. A very aesthetic miniature from this classic fluorite Spanish locality.
Among the Spanish collectors, the Zamoran opals are well known. This specimen were collected from an area from which to obtain pieces with this quality and size is very difficult, I can certify it... This specimen presents opal nodules, with an intense orange color, some brilliance and surrounded by a solid matrix. I say this because, despite the visible fractures, stability is assured. A sample of quality for this locality.

Rich group of hexagonal prismatic mimetite crystals, some of them doubly terminated, with an intense brilliance and intense orange color. Samples from this area and with this quality are not usually seen.
Exceptional specimen formed by several groups of prismatic crystals of adamite, which are disposed forming rosettes on a matrix of goethite. Crystals have a very uniform yellow color, with transparence, and very defined faces and edges. Pure aesthetic.
An aesthetic display specimen. A huge size sample, with large and defined cubic fluorite crystals, with transparence, color between violet and purple. Some of them are partially covered with very small quartz crystals. Different than usual. From old mine times...
Specimen with a good size of fluorite of intense color and sharp faces and edges. It shows cubic forms with polycrystalline growths and a color between violet to purple very intense, with color zoning and transparency.
A very rich group of cubic fluorite crystals, with an intense violet to purple color depending on incident light. With a very aesthetic geometric color zoning. On a matrix covered by several quartz crystals. From old times...
It is a large group of fluorite crystals, with colorful cubic forms with polysinthetic growth on faces, brillinat, transparent to translucent and very intense color between purple to violet (depending on incident light), with geometric zonation. Peppered by small barite crystals. Very aesthetic specimen, with many years, coming from the mining area of Berbes.
This specimenbelongs from an Italian collection. It stands out for a colorful cinnabar crystal, with a good size (12 mm), transparent to translucent. Faceted, bright, intense red color. It is accompanied by several groups of crystals of the same species. A classic smaple with a pedigree, very difficult to see today. From one of the most Spanish classic localities.
Very aesthetic stalactic-botryoidal formation of goethite, with some iridescence. This specimen does not show those colors seen in the samples of this locality since it has not been manually husked. It is presented in the original shape with which it appears in the deposit, nowadays very difficult to find.
A high quality and sized specimen from the famous Carrara Marble quarries of Italy. The ancients believed that water solidified in the form of hyaline quartz crystals... Viewing this specimen, its purity, transparence, brilliance and perfection, perhaps we can understand their interpretation. Undamaged crystals and on snowy white marble matrix, partially covered by tiny crystals of calcite. An Italian gemm...
Radial aggregates of normandite, of intense orange color and with transparency. They are disposed in a matrix with aegirine and analcime. Under LW-UV light the white matrix shows some fluorescence with intense orange spots. From the alkaline pegmatites of the Kola peninsula.
A huge size danburite specimen totally different from what we can usually find from this Mexican locality. Formed by a large group of prismatic crystals, which have different faces of the orthorhombic prism, with very defined terminal faces. Good transparency in most crystals, others are translucent. They are disposed on a matrix of good size chalcopyrite crystals, some of them partially covered by iridescent bornite. A museum piece.
Good size specimen with many years, from the mining area of Berbes. It is a "flag", near to a floater, totally covered with small quartz crystals. On them, on both sides of the piece, several cubic crystals of fluorite with polysynthetic growths, interpenetrated between them, but also isolated. Of intense violet color, between transparent and translucent. It is accompanied by aggregates of barite. A piece of quality from tha past times.
A huge size specimen formed by a rich groups of brilliant and sharp atacamite crystals, showing elongated prisms, intense green color and with transparence. In thsi specimen we have not found clinoatacamite (oops) but under loupe we can enjoy very well faceted crystals, really amazing. Accompanied by scalenohedral calcite transparent crystals and with brilliant quartz that is covering the blue chrysocolla and malachite. A really aesthetic display specimen.
