Group of childrenite crystals, well defined, transparent to translucent, accompanied by aggregates of polythionite (mica group). They are disposed on a matrix with feldspar and quartz.

Olive green prismatic olivenite crystals are arranged on a goethite matrix, along with dark green cornwallite and light green malachite aggregates. Brazil seems to have a little bit of everything when it comes to deposits, and even though it's best known for it gem pegmatites, there are all sorts of curious localities like Ibiajara where copper minerals (and even a little gold) have been found.

A very attractive large specimen of beautiful "star" muscovite mica from Linópolis. These specimens are some of the most distinctive and eye-catching pieces of mica from any locality for their wonderful morphology. This piece has a full coverage of lovely golden-yellow color, incredibly well-formed, star shaped twinned crystals of muscovite on quartz matrix.

n this specimen of chalcedony we can observe, when light passes through it, the presence of a cavity partially filled with water of crystallization. This water was trapped in the process of formation of the geode, millions of years ago. A mineralogical curiosity.

Druse formed by numerous globular aggregates of greenish-brown zanazziite disposed on a pegmatitic matrix with muscovite. Zanazziite is a rare hydrated calcium, magnesium, iron, aluminum and beryllium phosphate. With a handwritten label.

Aesthetic starbursts of very lustrous, golden rutile needles epitaxial on black hematite crystals. From the classic Novo Horizonte mines. The uneven starburst really adds character to this fine piece, which looks great from both sides.

A good sized specimen formed by numerous albite crystals, pericline variety, due to its elongated prisms and white color. Well defined, bright and arranged in a matrix colored by orange microcline and schorl. This aesthetic specimen belongs from the former collection of Peter Seroka (Girona).

In this aesthetic specimen we can observe several small rhombohedral crystals, with an orange-yellow color, of this very rare strontium aluminum phosphate-sulphate. They are arranged on a matrix with magnesite and numerous crystals of brown fluor-uvite, very well defined and transparent.

Group of very well defined fluor-uvite crystals with a characteristic olive green color, with an excellent transparence. They are disposed on a matrix formes by magnesite crystals, between transparent to translucent. The contrast with the matrix is very aesthetic. Most specimens historically designate as uvite are actually, as analyses have shown, the F-dominant end member: fluor-uvite. Those from this mine have been shown to be the fluorine phase.

In this specimen we can observe an idiomorphic good size crystal of tapiolite-(Fe) that shows us different tetragonal faces. Good luster, intense black colour with iridescence on faces. It stands out on a matrix with albite and muscovite. The analyzes carried out indicate the presence of niobium in small proportions. These results will be sent to the buyer of the specimen.

In this specimen we can observe interpenetrated tapiolite-(Fe) crystals showing different facets. Good luster, intense black color with iridescence on the faces. In this specimen we can observe numerous prismatic crystals of hydroxylherderite, an unusual calcium and beryllium hydroxylphosphate, with a very uniform beige color, very well defined faces and edges and with twinning. They are disposed on a matrix formed by albite crystals. The specimen is from the Piauí Valley, an area very rich in lithium-bearing pegmatites.

Prismatic crystal of elbaite, with an intense green color, which shows a lighter green color on the upper flat face of the pinacoid when light passes through it. It is accompanied by clevelandite crystals. It comes from the Trigo collection.

Elbaite specimen of very good size and thickness, showing us the prisms with vertical striations and well-defined terminal faces. Highlights the brightness and a more intense green color at the top and lighter at the base. A gem from Minas Gerais. It belongs from the Trigo collection.

Some almandine garnet crystals exposed in the center of a quartz nodule from an unusual alluvial deposit. The garnet crystals are nicely exposed showing almost half the largest crystal.

A classic specimen from this Brazilian locality. Various flattened, almost lenticular, siderite crystals with a yellowish green color, on which a group of dolomite crystals stands out. In dolomite we see numerous pseudohexagonal pyrrhotite crystals, some included in the dolomite. We did not observe the presence of cubanite.

This old piece stands out for the size of the crystals and their color. The largest crystal presents the classic fractures, perpendicular to the main axis. The minor, with the terminal face. They are pieces that came out many years ago, around the 70s. This specimen also stands out for the label of Joan Montplet, a well-known mineral seller from Sant Celoni (Catalonia).

Floater crystal of columbite-(Fe), with a huge size for the species. We can observe numerous facets, some with striations, with brilliance. The specimen indicates "repaired" since a part (see photo) has been repositioned in its place, without affecting the quality. It is accompanied by minor lepidolite. Columbite specimens of this size are not common. We have analyzed the specimen and, in the attached diagram, we can see the results which indicate sample is in the columbite-(Fe) domain. Minor traces of Ti are present. We will send this results to the buyer. An exceptional piece.

A very aesthetic specimen from this classic Brazilian mine. Numerous aggregates of quartz crystals, with a very elongated prism, almost acicular, with well-defined terminal faces and exceptional luster and transparence. They form divergent aggregates on a siderite matrix, visible on the back, as lenticular crystals formed by flattened rhombohedra. Very aesthetic and huge size sample for this mine.

A good size hyaline quartz crystal that shows an interior "ghost" that follows the geometry of the main one. Greenish in tone, probably due to a member of the mica group, fuchsite. These specimens are rare to see today.
