Group of neptunite crystals, well developed and rich in faces, bright and arranged on a matrix with white natrolite. The contrast is very aesthetic. It belongs from the Nicolau collection (Barcelona). The formula of neptunite indicates its chemical complexity: KNa₂Li(Fe²⁺)₂Ti₂[Si₄O₁₂]₂
Very good specimen of joaquinite-(Ce) from this classic North American mine. In the crossite matrix (obsolete name of an intermediate amphibole between the riebeckite group and the glaucophane group) we can see two crystals of joaquinite-(Ce), a rare species with the formula: NaBa₂Ce₂FeTi₂[Si₄O₁₂]₂O₂(OH,F)·H₂O. They stand out for its perfection, with an intense orange color, translucent, with defined faces and edges, and a good size for the species. Very rare on the market with this quality.
Brilliant black andradite crystals, var. melanite, on contrasting light matrix. Well defined faces and edges. Very aerial. From the former Joan Astor collection (Barcelona).
Very good size crystal of benitoite, a rare barium and titanium silicate, rich in faces, highlighting those of the trigonal dypraramid, together with those of the hexagonal dypyramid and the pinacoidal faces. Intense color and translucent. It has a small dent in one edge, common in these specimens without affecting the aesthetics of the specimen. On matrix.
Good sized hydromagnesite specimens from this mine and with this quality are uncommon. On the rocky matrix, several globular aggregates of transparent crystals, with a white aspect. Brilliant and very rich specimen. Specimen originally in the collection of Hubin (Belgium).
A specimen for systematic collectors... A large group of needle-like colorless crystals (prismatic) of artinite, forming aesthetic rosettes. But in this sample we highlight some aggregates of desautelsite crystals, a rare manganese and magnesium carbonate found in very few locations. They are orange crystals forming groups together with the artinite.
