Destinezite is a rare iron phosphate-sulphate, and its type locality is Argenteau (Belgium). This specimen that we present comes from this Belgian locality. It shows the characteristic shape, nodular, with a beige tone. Nowadays is impossible to collect there.

A very rich specimen of Ardennite-(As), a rare silicate arsenate of manganese and aluminum, which has the type locality in this Belgian town. Formed by some  aggregates in parallel growth of prismatic flattened crystals, intense color between orange to yellow and luster. They are included in a quartz matrix with hematite. Collect samples is currently prohibited and specimens are very difficult to find (I know it). From the collection of P. Van Hee.

Group of tabular barite crystals showing well defined faces and edges, good transparency and excellent brilliance. Its color takes on a greenish gray shades due to inclusions. Observed under the microscope, you could see the presence of reddish acicular inclusions of hematite. This sample was published in the Mineralogical Record (Vol. 45, No. 1) as a novelty in the Munich Mineral Show 2013.

A good size and exceptional Belgium calcite specimen on matrix! Transparence and very rich in faces, good honey color. We can observe the complex twinning formed by rhombohedral crystals, visible twin plane. Perfectly disposed on a calcite matrix.
This limestone quarry has provided beautiful calcite twins which have made enjoy during years the crystallography mineral collectors. Currently access is not allowed.

Groups of sharp marcasite crystals, very brilliant, showing the classic forms of "cockscomb". Very stable, defined and partially covering a matrix of small crystals of sphalerite. This matrix presents the known "schalenblende". It is formed by compact sphalerite and wurtzite masses of a pale brown colour, occurring in concentric layers with reniform surfaces which also may contain pyrite and galena. It is believed to have formed by crystallization of a rich-sulfide colloidal dispersion. Good size and aesthetic specimen.
