A specimen of stibnite from this classic German locality. The specimen belongs from the F. Coune collection (Belgium) and was adquired in the early 1970s. It shows a radial aggregate of acicular crystals of this antimony sulfide. It is arranged on a matrix with pyrite, quartz, and calcite crystals.

Size: 6.6 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm.
Main crystal: 11 mm.

A typical polished slice of 'Federpyrit' (variety "feather pyrite"), with a good size. This is a pseudomorphs of pyrite after thin tabular pyrrhotite. Classic specimen from Pfaffenberg, an ancient German lead-silver mine. With siderite. Very appreciated for European collectors.
