Interesting specimen due to the town where it comes from. It is a druse (both sides) of small, brilliant jarosite crystals from this small ballast quarry for railway tracks, located in the area known as "La Corraliza" to the NNE of the town of Vall d'Uixó. With old label from J. Viñals.
Druse of jarosite crystals, very bright and with a characteristic brown color. From a mine little represented in collections.
Good sized specimen with powdered cinnabar aggregates. Intense red color, with an orange point. From this classic mine in Alt Palància (Castelló). For cinnabar locality collectors.
Tyrolite specimens from the Amorosa mine are a classic of Spanish mineralogy. In the cavities of the dolomitic matrix we find esthetic and brilliant aggregates of tabular, foliaceous crystals of tyrolite. The SEM-EDS analysis of this sample are consistent with those of other deposits, showing the presence of S and Zn in its composition. It is accompanied by chenevixite, an arsenate of copper and iron, olive green colour. We will send detailed analysis to the buyer.
A group of tabular baryte crystals of this locality known for mercury minerals. This specimen, from the Daunis collection, shows us interpenetrating crystals, of good size and translucent. With a small damages, it is an old piece, very interesting for historical baryte and Spanish collectors.
Nice and very interesting aggregates of dundasite needles, a unusual lead and aluminium hydroxycarbonate, from this classic Valencian locality. Dundasite is filling cavities in the goethite matrix. Also accompanied by globular sauconite with an intense yellow color. All of them analyzed by SEM-EDS by Rosell Minerals.
