Idiomorphic chalcopyrite crystal of considerable size, with defined faces and edges. Some show stepped growth. It is disposed very aerial on a matrix formed by transparent, brilliant, and elongated hyaline quartz crystals. It belongs from the Franco Betta collection (Torino, Italia).
Exceptional quartz specimen, with elongated prisms forming divergent, transparent to translucent aggregates. It has a slightly reddish hue due to the presence of hematite speckles the crystals. It is accompanied by small crystals of pyrite and chalcopyrite. A display specimen from this classic Peruvian locality.
An interesting specimen that shows a matrix covered with clear hyaline quartz crystals. They are accompanied by faceted galena crystals with cube and octahedron faces and very defined edges. They are also accompanied by more complex but also faceted sphalerite. A specimen worth observing with a medium-power magnifying glass.
Groups of aggregates of rhodochrosite crystals, of a delicate pink color, brilliant. They are accompanied by colorless aggregates of small quartz crystals. Very aesthetic.
An old specimen of this Peruvian mine that shows a large group of cubic galena crystals, interpenetrated, with its characteristic gray tone. They have stepped growths on the faces and some natural cavities, which give them a differentiated appearance.
Group of chalcopyrite crystals, one of good size, with defined shapes arranged on quartz hyaline crystals. An aesthetic miniature.
