L'Etoile du Congo Mine, Lubumbashi, Katanga, Congo, Democratic Republic of

Really nice botryoidal aggregates of malachite, with intense color and a velvety surface due to the small crystals forming globular aggregates. Very different specimen from this mine, well known for the type locality of cornetite species. All aesthetics.

Size: 8.0 x 7.4 x 4.5 cm.
Main crystal: 11 x 10 mm.
