RM3113 Stibarsen
Pribram, Central Bohemian, Czech RepublicThis is a really good piece of Stibarsen, a rare arsenic antimonide alloy, from this famous mineral producing region in the Czech Republic. For years, stibarsen was labeled as allemontite, which is no longer a species. The species is now stibarsen, and allemontite is an archaic/invalid term. This piece features the classic botryoidal form that is well-known from Pribram. A good representation of this classic old material. From the collection of Juan M. Casanova.
Size: 6.5 x 5.3 x 1.6 cm.
Found in ±1994.

RM3070 Kaersutite
Lukov (Lukow), Teplice, Ústí nad Labem, Czech RepublicThese specimens from this Czech locality were initially cataloged as "hornblende", later studies indicated that it could be kaersutite, a member of the amphibole group. This specimen has a brownish tone that makes us think it could be a pseudomorphosis. It shows very well defined faces that can allow crystallography lovers to measure angles. An old sample.
Size: 4.2 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm.

RM2831 Galena and quartz
Pribram, Central Bohemian, Czech RepublicA rich group of cube octahedral galena crystals, with ancient exfoliated zones and certain luster, but with the old patina we have preferred not to remove, since it is an old piece from the classic Príbram mining area. They are disposed on a matrix with pyrite and quartz crystals. With a handwritten label.
Size: 7.3 x 6.9 x 3 cm.
Main crystal: 1 cm.
Found in ±1950.

RM2598 Orthoclase, Carlsbad twin
Karlovy Vary, Czech RepublicA classic specimen of the famous, but difficult to find, twinned orthoclase crystals from this locality of Bohemia. A floating specimen with the Carlsbad twin. Well defined. There has been some debate as to whether or not Loket is the type locality for the Karlsbad twin habit of feldspar, as "Karlsbad" / "Carlsbad" is the old name for Karlovy Vary. More information on this can be found in [mindat].
Size: 4.8 x 3.4 x 1.7 cm.
