RM2524 Sursassite, tinzenite and ganophyllite
Molinello mine, Val Graveglia, Ne, Genova, Liguria, ItalyRadial aggregates of reddish-brown sursassite, bright and on the quartz matrix. It is accompanied by orange-yellow aggregates of tinzenite crystals, together with fibrous masses of light yellow ganophyllite.
Size: 5 x 3 x 1 cm.
Found in ca. 1979.

RM1239 Tinzenite with quartz and kutnohorite
Molinello Mine, Val Graveglia, Ne, Genova, Liguria, ItalyGroups of orange rosettes of this rare species. Tinzenite is a boro/aluminosilicate of calcium and manganese from the axinite group [see here], and probably the best specimens are from this Italian mine. Also accompanied by quartz crystals and white to pink kutnohorite aggregates.
Size: 8.5 x 6.5 x 6.8 cm.
Found in 2011.
RM1202 Tinzenite with quartz
Molinello Mine, Val Graveglia, Ne, Genova, Liguria, ItalyGroups of orange rosettes of this rare species. Tinzenite is a boro/aluminosilicate of calcium and manganese from the axinite group [see here], and probably the best specimens are from this Italian mine. Also accompanied by quartz crystals.
Size: 8.3 x 7.0 x 4.8 cm.
Found in 2011.
RM1096 Tinzenite with lindbergite and quartz
Molinello Mine, Val Graveglia, Ne, Genova, Liguria, ItalyGroups of orange rosettes of this rare species. Tinzenite is a boro/aluminosilicate of calcium and manganese from the axinite group [see here], and probably the best specimens are from this Italian mine. Also accompanied by white epimorphic crystals (after not determined species) of a rare Mn oxalate: lindbergite.
Size: 6.3 x 5.2 x 2.4 cm.
Found in 2011.
RM1024 Sursassite with quartz
Mina Molinello, Val Graveglia, Ne, Genova, Liguría, ItalyA very uncommon species. It is an aluminum manganese silicate found in few localities worldwide. Specimens from Molinello mine are the best known. In this sample we observe a vein of sursassite with a coppery brown color, formed by many needle like crystals. In the quartz vug we can see perfectly formed crystals. The analysis will be sent to the buyer. A very good opportunity.
Size: 7.4 x 3.7 x 3.2 cm.
Analyzed specimen with report
RM878 Native copper
Molinello mine, Ne, Genova, Liguria, ItalyExcellent native copper specimen from this Italian mine. A dendritic growth of small crystals of copper, with defined edges and complex faces. The color is very intense and its luster is more than remarkable. The locality is uncommon for native copper.
Size: 6.5 x 4.5 x 5.0 cm.
RM937 Tiragalloite
Molinello mine, Val Graveglia, Ne, Genova, Liguria, ItalyTiragalloita is a rare manganese arsenosilicate found in very few localities. This specimen is from the type locality. In this sample we find a rich mineralized area showing some crystal faces. A systematic rarity. It has been analyzed and we will send a copy to the buyer.
Size: 6.0 x 4.0 x 3.4 cm.
