Thios cation gives to these specimens a violet to purple core. Very bright, defined and with transparence that allows us to see this species. Nice and aesthetic specimen.

Ojuela mine, Mapimí, Municipio de Mapimí, Durango, MexicoGemmy and lustrous sprays of rich yellow legrandite needles, aesthetically jackstrawed in the vug, contrasting with the gossan matrix. Good color and fanshaped transparent and defined crystals.

RM1849 Legrandite
Ojuela mine, Mapimí, Municipio de Mapimí, Durango, MexicoThis specimen of legrandite shows us a group of sharp crystals of this rare zinc arsenate, with an intense orange-yellow color. It is common that some crystals appears fractured, but in this sample there are several perfect prismatic crystals, undamaged, brilliant and with an incredible transparence. I personally like isolated crystals and this piece is one of them. Good size, brightness and aesthetics, very representative for the species. Accompanied by elongated smithsonite white crystals.

They are filling the cavities of the limonite matrix with a intense contrast. With an old label from this ancient natural science store located in the center of the city of Barcelona.

Santa Eulalia, Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua, MexicoVery esthetic specimen formed by numerous aggregates of crystals of calcite manganoan, very bright, transparent to translucent, forming globular groups very well set on the matrix. They present a slightly pinkish tone due to the presence of Mn. Extremely fluorescent under LW-UV, with a spectacular pink to red color. They are accompanied by small octahedral cubic crystals of colorless and transparent fluorite. In a matrix of bright crystals of pyrite, sphalerite and galena. An exceptional piece.

RM1670 Rhodochrosite
Potosí mine, Aquiles Serdán, Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, MexicoVery rich specimen of rhodo, formed by several gemmy, rose-red elongated rhombohedrons covering the matrix on this fine, fine quality sample from the famous 1970s and 1980s finds at Santa Eulalia. Observed under magnification we can see that elongated faces are semidull and terminal rhombohedrons are brilliant and transparent. Color is really good. Not easy to find in the market specimens with this quality.

Quite attractive, with little snowy balls formed by several crystals of the mineral have formed in shallow recesses in a contrasting matrix of limonite. Really nice under loupe... They are brilliant and disposed very aerially on the matrix. It is accompanied by calcite, which in the back part of the specimen partially covers the crystals of wulfenite, with small aggregates of yellowish arsenatian vanadinite crystals, curiously close to pyromorphite. Ojuela mine, Mapimí, Mun. de Mapimí, Durango, MexicoRich group of very elongated mimetite crystals, some of them doubly terminated, brilliant, translucent and with a soft yellow tone. Mimetite specimens with this shape are unusual in Ojuela mine, usually globular. They are accompanied by aggregates of tiny yellow to orange crystals of tsumcorite-arsenbrackebuschite. They are disposed in a cavity of the goethite matrix. The specimen has been analyzed and the results will be sent to the buyer. It has been published in the mineral magazine "Paragénesis" (1-2017).

Crystals have a very uniform yellow color, with transparence, and very defined faces and edges. Pure aesthetic.

RM1475 Danburite with chalcopyrite and bornite
San Bartolo Mine, Charcas, Mun. de Charcas, San Luis Potosí, MexicoA huge size danburite specimen totally different from what we can usually find from this Mexican locality. Formed by a large group of prismatic crystals, which have different faces of the orthorhombic prism, with very defined terminal faces. Good transparency in most crystals, others are translucent. They are disposed on a matrix of good size chalcopyrite crystals, some of them partially covered by iridescent bornite. A museum piece.

RM1400 Bornite on pyrite
Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Mun. de Santa Cruz, Sonora, MexicoEverybody knows about Milpillas secondary copper minerals, but this locality is not well-known by the complex pyrite crystals coated by bornite. We propose one of the few specimens I have seen. In this sample we can see the dominant forms of the cube, but also the octahedron, surrounded by trapezohedron and possibly the dodecahedron on edges. Bright and well disposed in a solid matrix. It is a true crystallographic gem.

A first generation as small rosettes formed by lanceolate greenish crystals and second with thiner crystals, needle-like, some of which are included in rhombohedral calcite crystals, with a light blue color. Stand in a very aesthetic way on the matrix of goethite. A very balanced sample.
