RM638 Allargentum, silver and dyscrasite
Mine de Bouismass, Bouismass, Bou Azzer, Ouarzazate, Souss-Massa-Draâ, MoroccoA huge size and very rich specimen formed by groups of allargentum intergrown with dyscrasite and silver. Defined crystals, very aerial disposed. Good luster, with metallic gray tones, gold (classic for allargentum) and silver. On a calcite matrix. A very elegant and quality sample for this locality and species.
Size: 8,2 x 4,4 x 3,3 cm.
Main crystal: 10 x 2 mm.
Found in 2001.
RM596 Proustite
Mine de Bouismass, Bouismass, Bou Azzer, Ouarzazate, Souss-Massa-Draâ, MoroccoUnusually species for this Moroccan mine. The dealer confirmed the locality, I initially thought in Imiter. This is a group proustite crystals with good red color, brilliance and transparence, some of them contacted due to the cavity, others showing terminations and striated faces. In calcite matrix.
Size: 6,0 x 5,2 x 3,7 cm.
Main crystal: 4 x 1 mm.
