RM1697 Wendwilsonite with aragonite and cobaltaustinite
Aghbar Mine, Aghbar, Bou Azzer, Tazenakht, Ouarzazate, MoroccoAesthetic specimen of wendwilsonite formed by numerous sized and isolated crystals, transparent, very well defined, some of them doubly terminated. With an intense and uniform pink color. We also observed some aggregates with a yellowish green tone; the SEM-EDS analysis indicates that it is a rich Cu cobaltaustinite that curiously presents a remarkable content in Zn and Ni, something unusual. They are disposed on a matrix with brilliant crystals of calcite and dolomite. The sample has been analyzed completely, so we will send the buyer all the results.
Size: 10.5 x 8.4 x 6.4 cm.
Main crystal: 6 x 4 mm.
