Old specimen of boleite showing a group of crystals, two of them predominant, with brightness and intense color. They are accompanied in matrix by malachite and atacamite. This sample was acquired by Joan Astor to Jordi Fabre in 1986. We keep the labels of the Astor collection and the former Jordi Fabre label. From the type locality.
Group of very sharp cubic crystals of fluorite, very transparent, colorless, brilliant and in staggered growth. It presents certain very curious inclusions. Minos matrix of galena. Very aestetic. From the former Trigo Collection (Mataró).
Group of very acute scalenohedral calcite crystals, well defined and with a brown colour due to inclusions. Thanks to some of these crystals that show exfoliation, we can observe that it has been formed in the final stages of their growth. From the A. Trigo collection (Mataró).
Group of prismatic fluorapatite crystals, with faces of the prism and the hexagonal dipyramids. The transparence and brilliance areexcellent and the yellow color is very intense. This specimen was photographed in some books that Joan Astor published in issuu [online page 86]. It is accompanied in the matrix with hyaline opal aggregates. It was acquired in 1980 from Bailey Minerals (Ángel Jesús Talabán García, Segovia 1942-Madrid 2007). A very aesthetic and good size piece.
Very aesthetic specimen of fluorite. It shows the cubic shape, with polysynthetic growths on faces. The color very uniform, a delicate violet tone, with geometric zoning on edges, more intense. Excellent brilliance, transparence and very well defined faces and edges. An exceptional piece from Santa Eulalia and the Joan Astor collection, acquired by this great Catalan photographer and collector at the EXPOMINER Barcelona mineral show in 1981.
Colorful specimen of arsenatian vanadinite crystals, in aggregates of hexagonal prismatic crystals, with hopper cavities on the pinacoidal faces. Intense shine, orange to brown, with zoning, transparent to translucent crystals. They stand out on a white matrix of calcite. An excellent specimen of this Mexican mine.
Fine aggregates of bright and translucent gillespita, strawberry red. In a matrix of white sanbornita that contrasts with the color. Gillespita is a rare barium and iron phyllosilicate. This is a very rich, colorful and excellent piece for the species.
Group of topaz crystals of good size, combining vertical prisms with dipyramidal faces, and small pinacoidal forms. Between transparent to translucent, with colour zoning between the core and the terminal faces. They are on a matrix of volcanic rock with growths of opal.
Rich group of sharp arsenical vanadinite crystals, with curved faces prisms, barrel-shaped and many of them doubly terminated, with the characteristic color of this variety. Two generations of crystals are observed, those of greater size opaque and with a brown tone, on which a second generation of transparent toasted honey tone crystals has grown, all very very brilliant. A pleasure under the magnifying glass. This mine is also known as Apex.
Very aesthetic globular aggregates of smithsonite, with an apple green color, translucent, accompanied by several lanceolated sharp and transparent hemimorphitecrystals. In a vug of the goethite matrix. Smithsonite specimens from this Mexican mine are highly appreciated by collectors. From the 8th level of this mine.
Excellent specimen formed by very numerous aggregates of pyrargyrite crystals. Intense brightness, with red transparence, crystals are very rich in faces. We have analyzed some of the crystals and we will send the results to the buyer. For display, but also to observe/enjoy under the magnifying glass.
Globular aggregates formed by acicular crystals of rosasite, with colours between deep green and light bluish green. Very aesthetic and disposed on a matrix of goethite. From this classic Mexican mine.
A nice specimen of delicate purple to violet creedite is from the early 1980's find in Santa Eulalia. Complete, brilliant, the specimen features gemmy crystals to almost 1 cm. Purple creedite specimens are unusual in the market.
Rich group of danburite crystals, transparent to translucent, with developed prism and defined faces and edges. Some with nicks in the terminal parts, but without affecting the whole. They are disposed on a matrix with pyrite and sphalerite crystals. Brightness, snowy white, very aesthetic and ancient specimen.
Very, very aesthetic specimen, unusual, showing two globular aggregates of smithsonite, colorless, transparent that let us see a whitish crystal aggregate core, with very curious growth. They are accompanied by small crystals of the same species in the form of globular grains. To give a touch of color and quality, several aggregates of olive green adamite crystals, visible terminal faces, bright, translucent and sprinkling the goethite matrix. It is an exceptional and rare old material from the Manchion Collection. Probably this specimen comes from the Palomas Oriente area of the mine. Pure aesthetics... With the label from Manchion Collection.
Very esthetic specimen formed by some groups of prismatic crystals of adamite, contrasting on a matrix of goethite. The crystals have a very uniform yellow color, with transparency, with very well defined faces and edges and forming rosettes. We can also observe isolated doubly terminated crystals and some almost colorless. A pleasure under the loupe magnifying glass. Good size.

These specimens of wulfenite with the chocolate brown to orange tone are very appreciated by collectors and very difficult to see today, unless they come from former collections with tradition. This specimen shows a large group of tabular crystals, very brilliant and translucent, few small nick that does not affect the aesthetics of the specimen. A classic piece.
Very aesthetic fan-shaped groups of transparent hemimorphite crystals, with a very good brilliance and excellent terminations. Accompanied by small aggregates of yellow greenish mimetite crystals. On a limonite matrix.
Group of crystals of adamite, which show a geometric color zoning from yellow to violet due to the presence of manganoan adamite, a variety of adamite rich in manganese. Thios cation gives to these specimens a violet to purple core. Very bright, defined and with transparence that allows us to see this species. Nice and aesthetic specimen.

This specimen of legrandite shows us a group of sharp crystals of this rare zinc arsenate, with an intense orange-yellow color. It is common that some crystals appears fractured, but in this sample there are several perfect prismatic crystals, undamaged, brilliant and with an incredible transparence. I personally like isolated crystals and this piece is one of them. Good size, brightness and aesthetics, very representative for the species. Accompanied by elongated smithsonite white crystals.
