Very aerial crystal of gypsum of this classic Murcian locality. It stands out for its transparency, brightness and for visible and aesthetic inclusions. The "matrix" is formed by a group of crystals of the same species. Not usual in the market.

Specimens of this mine are unusual in the market. This sample, from an former collection, is one of those pieces that make us appreciate the minerals of the La Gaviota mine. On a matrix of goethite, partially covered with tiny crystals of pyrolusite, are disposed very aerial a rich group of tabular barite crystals. Between translucent to transparent. An opportunity to represent perfectly this mine in our collection.

Mamellonar aggregates of smithsonite crystals with a very nice orange to brown color covering cavities in the rocky matrix. From a recent find (2014, april) in one of the biggest "cortas" (quarry) of Portmán mining area.
